Parliamo Italiano is a caustic and humorous subversion of the old linguaphone language courses.
 
In eight easy lessons we follow the Smiths, a typical English family, as they learn Italian with their flamboyant tutor Signor Facci.
 
But as the course progresses it becomes clear there is more to this seemingly one-dimensional family than first appears.
Verbs and vocabulary soon give way to deceit and paranoia as the Smiths begin to fall apart...
